I could be wrong and it certainly would not be the first time but Was this an upgrade on a machine or did this machine come with Windows 8? Have you checked for Windows 8 drivers for your hardware (from the manufacturer's web page, not using anything built into Windows.)? I noticed a lot of people have been having these same issues. Also, it is a Plug and play device so Windows should automatically update it. It is not the camera because I get it to work fine on Windows 7 in both the Canon Software and Picaso. The data is invalid." SO it seems the driver is there, but for some reason I click yes and during the driver update I get this message: " Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error attempting to install it" MTB USB Device. ![]() Windows identifies both the camera and Memory card and states that drivers are available. The only place the memory card shows up is in Device Manager.
